    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs physical care of assigned patients (i.e. grooming, feeding etc.). </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>-Collects specimens as needed. -Assists and accompanies patients during admission or discharge.</p>\n<p>-Performs general care activities for patients.</p>\n<p>-Records patients’ personal care andphysical findings.</p>\n<p>-Performs a variety of tasks and activities according to the needs of the Department.</p>\n<p>-Performs EKG, monitors ECG telemetry equipment and Phlebotomy on Patients.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>-Must have two to three (2-3) years in acute/chronic orambulatory care setting. -</p>\n<p>-High School graduate or GED and completed a PCT course which should include EKG and Phlebotomy.</p>\n<p>-Good computer skills as well as organizational, written and verbal skills.</p>\n<p>-Telemetry certification and BLS Certification required.</p>\n<p>-Experience in Acute Psychiatry preferred. -Bilingual Preferred: English/Spanish.</p>",
