Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our event rental warehouse team. This position is responsible for building custom rental products, fabricating new designs, maintaining existing inventory, and ensuring all fabric-based rental items meet company quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on sewing or fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This position primarily works in the sewing department and warehouse environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Upholstery & Production Upholster and fabricate event rental inventory to specifications from design concepts, drawings, & plans. Ensure production meets company quality standards and industry safety standards. Operate sewing machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively. Complete projects within established production schedules and deadlines. Inventory Maintenance & Repair Inspect all event rental inventory for damage, wear, quality, and safety concerns before and after events. Identify rental inventory that requires repairs and communicates maintenance needs and inventory count changes to management. Perform repairs, restoration, and hardware replacement of relevant rental products to maintain inventory standards and extend the life of rental inventory. Maintain the appearance, functionality, and structural integrity of all sewing department-produced inventory. General Warehouse Operations & Support Organize, store, and prepare sewing materials, tools, and inventory. Assist with inventory counts and tracking within the department and with management. Load/unload, move, and stage materials and rental inventory as needed. Support other warehouse and operational departments as assigned to meet business needs and order schedules. Assist with special projects and company initiatives as directed by management. Safety & Compliance Follow all company and industry safety policies, procedures, and best practices. Properly wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing Operate machinery, hand tools, and power tools in a safe and responsible manner. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, or potential hazards to management. Regularly attend and participate in safety training and comply with all applicable workplace safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork throughout the facility. Qualifications 1-3 years of professional sewing, upholstery, or related fabrication experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to read measurements and work from sketches, drawings, or plan designs Experience safely and effectively using common sewing machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Knowledge of polishes, paints, and protective finishes Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques Ability to work independently and as a part of team Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and ability to meet production and event deadlines Strong communication skills and professionalism when speaking with vendors and other third parties Physical Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to complete all the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
