ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES John Hiester Automotive is currently seeking a full-time Reconditioning Technician to join our winning team! In this role, you will: Conducts thorough inspections of inventory vehicles. Identifies required repairs and routine maintenance tasks. Estimates labor time and determines necessary parts for service. Carries out vehicle repairs and scheduled maintenance. Accurately documents all services and repairs performed. Completes services efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards. Adheres to both dealership and manufacturer service protocols. Submit requests for required parts in a timely manner. Collaborate effectively with vendors and team members. Logs all hours worked accurately in the company’s timekeeping system. Upholds and demonstrates the company’s core values in daily work. Follows all company policies and procedures. Observes and complies with all applicable safety regulations at the federal, state, local, and company levels. Maintains efficiency without compromising quality or safety. Uses critical thinking to diagnose and resolve issues. Performs additional duties as assigned by management. Conducts North Carolina State Inspections, ensuring all vehicles meet legal and safety standards.
