Job duties may vary, based on level of proficiency. Different levels are attained by passing test.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures.  Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards</li>\n <li>Keep work area clean and organized, per standards</li>\n <li>Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Follow all PPE policies, wearing steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required</li>\n <li>Make plate cylinders, ensuring they fit appropriately down to each detail</li>\n <li>Make gears, figuring and ensuring correct dimensions, using gear shaper</li>\n <li>Repair machine breakdowns as needed</li>\n <li>Build up, grind and reweld shafts</li>\n <li>Weld various items made of steel, cast iron, aluminum, stainless steel; braze or weld brass</li>\n <li>Handle sheet metal work, such as making guards and ink pans</li>\n <li>Work on special projects as assigned</li>\n <li>Respond to radio calls as needed</li>\n <li>Handle dismantling and rebuilding work</li>\n <li>Grind rubber rolls</li>\n <li>Make parts needed, ensuring that specifications are correct</li>\n <li>Cut shafts</li>\n <li>Draw blueprints and sketches of work</li>\n <li>Keep equipment clean</li>\n <li>Meet/achieve job goals set forth by management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Machinist trade school experience is preferred</li>\n <li>3-5 years of applicable work experience is required</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of company machinery in order to handle job duties</li>\n <li>Ability to set up and run lathes and milling machines (Bridgeport)</li>\n <li>Will make cylinders and ink pans, chaise threads, make complete parts and determine correct specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDQSR</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
