    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To: Daycare Manager</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Type of Position: Temporary Full-time – Maternity Coverage</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose: </span></p>\n<p>To provide one-on-one and group supervision of the children at the daycare, fostering trusting relationships while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of daily activities and structured environments conducive to the children's growth and development.</li>\n<li>Aid in organizing recreational and social activities that promote social interaction and learning.</li>\n<li>Encourage participation and cooperation among children, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.</li>\n<li>Foster an environment emphasizing care, growth, learning, and respect for all children.</li>\n<li>Ensure children receive intellectual, physical, and emotional stimulation through a variety of age-appropriate activities.</li>\n<li>Monitor safety concerns within the daycare environment and address them promptly to ensure the well-being of all children.</li>\n<li>Perform other tasks and duties as directed by the Daycare Manager to support the overall operation of the daycare.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of at least Level 1 Early Childhood Development Training.</li>\n<li>Possession of valid CPR and First Aid Training Certificates.</li>\n<li>Submission of a Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check.</li>\n<li>Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (preferred).</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Cold Lake First Nation’s culture, government, languages, and community dynamics is an asset.</li>\n<li>Ability to adapt to new situations, conflicts, and crises with patience and professionalism.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime as needed to meet the needs of the daycare.</li>\n<li>Evening and weekend work may be required to attend meetings, events, and community engagement sessions.</li>\n<li>Close interaction with children and parents as needed to address their needs and concerns.</li>\n<li>Engagement in outdoor activities with children, weather permitting.</li>\n<li>Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>",
