Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Responsible for providing courteous and competent services to ensure room reservations for guests are processed efficiently.</p> \n<strong><u>Examples of Duties</u><u>, includes but is not limited to the following</u>:</strong>\n<strong> </strong>\n<ul>\n <li> Answer incoming reservation calls.</li>\n <li> Complete reservation forms and enter cancellations, modifications, and reservations in the computerized reservation system.</li>\n <li> Run all deposits owed on future reservations.</li>\n <li> Contact Travel Agencies and Guests for appropriate payment.</li>\n <li> Responding to all incoming emails in a timely manner.</li>\n <li> Communicate to guests when deposits are not going through.</li>\n <li> Process all cc auth forms for future reservations.</li>\n <li> Process all refunds to guests who cancelled in the appropriate time.</li>\n <li> Assist with both FIT/Wholesale reservations and group reservations.</li>\n <li> Check availability and rates on a continuous basis.</li>\n <li> Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills. </li>\n <li>Must be detailed oriented and well organized.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate multiple reservation systems.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of room count information and basic functions of hotel operations.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff. </li>\n <li>Bilingual highly desireable.</li>\n <li>High school education or equivalent. College degree preferred.</li>\n</ul>",
