This hands- on role is responsible for maintaining both facility infrastructure and industrial production equipment to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</p><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h2><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As a Maintenance Technician, you&rsquo;ll be a key support to our maintenance functions, handling a wide variety of responsibilities that make a meaningful difference every day:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building structures, interiors, and exteriors (doors, walls, floors, roofing, loading docks).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct regular facility inspections and address safety hazards, wear, or damage.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform general upkeep, including minor painting, surface repairs, and exterior grounds maintenance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support winter operations, including snow removal or vendor coordination.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform basic HVAC and ventilation maintenance (filter changes, belt checks, temperature monitoring) and escalate issues requiring licensed trades.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facilities up to 600V, including lighting, outlets, panels, and controls, within company policy and applicable safety regulations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping to prevent leaks and water damage.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain compressed air systems, air compressors, and other facility utilities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial production equipment used in extrusion cutting, bending, pressing, and laser cutting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, including replacing bearings, belts, valves, cylinders, pumps, sensors, and motion components.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent unplanned downtime.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct operational and safety checks following maintenance or repairs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform basic machine electrical work not requiring an electrical license (sensors, switches, fuses, wiring connections).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and correct safety hazards; support fire alarm, security, and emergency systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and parts usage.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate and support external contractors for specialized repairs and facility projects.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requirements:</h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mechanic (Millwright), Red Seal designation or equivalent a strong asset</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">A strong industrial and mechanical background</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with electrical equipment (controls, motors) and electronic computer systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Using maintenance software example: TPM Software (MP2)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong troubleshooting and computer skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ability to work under minimal supervision and be dependable.
