Description
Position & Perks
We are hiring a hands-on IT Technician with strong experience in Windows Server administration, network support, and desktop troubleshooting . This role supports a multi-site environment, including field locations, and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems while delivering excellent customer service.
You will play a critical role in maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting end users, and ensuring systems run efficiently across the organization.
NOTE: This is an on-site position in our Corporate Office in Allendale NJ. This is NOT a remote/hybrid position.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems
Set up workstations, printers, routers, and other IT equipment
Provide desktop support and help desk troubleshooting for end users
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (LAN/WAN)
Administer and support Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange)
Perform preventative maintenance and on-site IT support at field locations
Ensure network security and data protection standards are maintained
Document issues, repairs, and maintenance activities
Coordinate system upgrades and patches with minimal downtime
Train users on new systems, applications, and IT best practices
Monitor equipment inventory and recommend purchases
Travel to business locations as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Strong experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange)
Solid knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls)
Experience with IT support, help desk systems, and remote management tools
Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 support
Experience supporting desktop hardware, system deployments, and IT infrastructure
Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of experience in a multi-site or enterprise IT environment
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar
Experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or POS systems
Exposure to database systems or backend support
