About Us
Welcome to ANI Pharmaceuticals, where we are dedicated to improving and enhancing patients' lives through the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
With a diverse portfolio of generic and branded pharmaceuticals, ANI is a trusted partner to healthcare providers, pharmacists, and patients alike. We understand the importance of accessibility, and our products are available across a wide range of therapeutic areas, contributing to the well-being of communities globally.
At ANI Pharmaceuticals, there are opportunities to contribute to our purpose every day. We value authenticity, knowledge, and hard work, and we strive to celebrate our employees in a positive environment. Our culture empowers everyone to be successful and apply our full potential.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will lead global talent acquisition for ANI. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, Human Resources, and hiring managers — building and delivering a talent acquisition strategy that enables continued growth. In this role, you’ll develop scalable hiring processes, elevate the candidate experience, and lead a high-performing recruiting team focused on continuous improvement.
This hybrid position works onsite at the Princeton, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Own ANI’s global talent acquisition strategy — translating business priorities into a scalable hiring roadmap that supports growth. Partner closely with executive leaders and HR to forecast talent needs, build pipelines for critical roles, and guide workforce planning. Elevate ANI’s employer brand and candidate experience to compete for top talent across functions and geographies. Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing recruiting team—setting clear goals, developing capabilities, and driving continuous improvement.
Recruiting Process: Collaborate cross-functionally to align hiring priorities, role requirements, and selection criteria with business needs. Oversee the full recruiting lifecycle—from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding—while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Build repeatable, scalable, and structured recruiting processes that improve speed, quality, and consistency. Ensure compliant, equitable, and cost-effective hiring practices that align with company policies and applicable employment laws. Select, manage, and evaluate third-party recruiting partners as needed to meet hiring demand. Tools and Insight: Use modern sourcing tools and platforms to engage candidates and build diverse pipelines. Guide the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers in adopting AI-enabled recruiting tools and best practices. Use analytics to assess recruiting effectiveness and continuously optimize workflows, channels, and sourcing strategies. Share regular updates on key talent acquisition metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, hires by team) and recommend actions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 10 years’ full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech, with at least 5 years’ experience in sales recruiting. Experience hiring for rare disease sales roles required. Hands on experience with HR systems, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software; Oracle experience preferred. Demonstrated familiarity with emerging AI-driven recruitment tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills, judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers, partners and candidates. Strong process orientation with a bias for outcomes and continuous improvement.
The base salary range for this position is $180,000-210,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.
ANI Pharmaceuticals offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
