Many of Holt’s employees have been with the company for over 25 years which is a true indication of our particular core values and business approach.  Our extensive project portfolio and repeat clientele are testament to our quality of work and ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Holt ’s management philosophy is to be managers of the construction process, not just overseers and recorders of the process.  We pride ourselves in working with owners and all team members in a collaborative process to provide cost-effective solutions to the numerous roadblocks that may be encountered during design and construction to ensure successful project execution.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Overview</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for a reliable Senior Construction Manager/ Senior Project Manager in our aviation sector to plan/manage/build construction projects and oversee progress from cradle to grave in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, buy out, organization, implementation and scheduling various types of projects as well as delivery methodology.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br>• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion<br>• Review the project in-depth to ensure schedule deliverables are met.<br>• Review owners’ contract to ensure project execution in accordance with the<br>agreement.<br>• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses<br>• Review Project Financials regularly to evaluate progress and identify projected<br>expenditures/exposures/profit.<br>• Execute all permit requirements for review by PX, as required<br>• Prepare and submit timely and accurate reporting to Holt Project Executive and<br>corresponding departments as required.<br>• Evaluate Project Documentation and Reporting compliance frequently.<br>• Assist in the coordination and direction of construction workers.<br>• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and<br>safety regulations. Ensure team is aware of, and adhering to, all Holt safety<br>guidelines, procedures, and reporting requirements, both internal and external.<br>• Review the work progress regularly. Identify Delays in Client, Design Team and/or<br>Subcontractor documentation affecting project progress and address, as required.<br>Meet contractual conditions of performance.<br>• Analyze, manage, and plan effectively to mitigate risks. Escalate any issues that<br>require higher involvement/approval which could negatively impact clients, projects,<br>or project teams.<br>• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.<br>• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.<br>• Manage and deliver timely and complete close-out project documents, in all aspects.<br>Ensure compliance and accuracy throughout the project.<br>• Other duties as assigned</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supervisory responsibilities</span><br>• 5-7 years of progressive supervisory experience<br>• Delegate tasks to project team with clear expectations of deliverables and timelines.<br>• Monitor progress of project team members to ensure the success of the project<br>• Address performance issues promptly and escalate as appropriate<br>• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career<br>potential<br>• Ensure that all team members have knowledge of, and access to, all Holt tools and<br>templates for implementation in the project<br>• Conduct performance reviews timely, make recommendations and assist with<br>development of succession planning</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p>• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.<br>• 7-10 years of experience in construction management and/or project management.<br>• Solid working knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules,<br>regulations, and quality standards<br>• Highly competent at reading, understanding, and interpreting contract documents,<br>drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules<br>• Advanced knowledge of all facets of construction management processes, means<br>and methods<br>• Solid working knowledge of construction management software packages such as<br>Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Procore as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word,<br>Excel, and PowerPoint)<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills<br>• Excellent leadership and management skills<br>• Excellent time, organizational and project management skills<br>• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
