Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate and maintain drill rigs, associated vehicles, and equipment</li><li>Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling</li><li>Perform various drilling activities including soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classification, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation</li><li>Prepare necessary logs/records and file reports</li><li>Control safety procedures on site</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Past drilling experience is strongly preferred but not required - candidates with equipment operation experience will be considered</li><li>Have a mechanical background and aptitude, with skills in operating and maintaining machinery</li><li>Must commit to working safely and ensuring the safety of co-workers</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Must be compatible and able to communicate with other people in a small team environment</li><li>Must be comfortable&nbsp;working outdoors</li><li>Be able to work 12 - hour shifts (day or night) in various climatic conditions for extended periods of time</li><li>Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance</li><li>Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound</li><li>Ability to kneel and squat occasionally</li><li>Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)</li><li>Ability to climb occasionally</li><li>Be physically fit and able to pass a fit for duty test</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Commercial Driver's License (CDL)&nbsp;</li><li>H.S.
