Description HealthPartners is hiring for an RN Casual Float to work at all HealthPartners Urgent Care locations. Will Float at St. Paul, Woodbury, Arden Hills, Apple Valley. Other locations may be added in the future. Urgent Care: Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in ambulatory or inpatient settings. Complete competencies in IV administration, catheterization and triage within 6 months of start QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current RN licensure in Minnesota Current RN licensure in Wisconsin within two months of hire Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable Strongly demonstrated written and oral communication skills Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in ambulatory or inpatient settings. Complete competencies in IV administration, catheterization and triage within 6 months of start PREFERRED: One year full time employment as an RN PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a time. Must possess speech, hearing and sight skills to perform the functions of the position. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently. Proficiency in other languages may be required . Some positions may have lifting requirements. POSITION PURPOSE: Service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. Performance is up to standard when: Uses health coaching techniques to elicit patient goals and priorities to develop individualized patient action plans Uses population management tools such as registries to identify high risk patients and track, monitor and follow-up with their care Engages, assesses readiness to learn and educates patients and families to implement strategies to reach a desired goal or care intervention Identifies and secures patient services needed for patient care Informs and supports patients and families to assist them in making informed decisions and navigate the healthcare system.
