    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2e3849; font-size: 15px\">What do we have on offer?</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2e3849\">Design Engineer extraordinaire, who enjoys a challenge, and has an innate ability to visualise and articulate a concept and then translate an idea into a design.  You’re passionate about utilising your skills and experience to deliver exceptional </span></span><span style=\"color: #282828\">tooling concepts and plastic injection mould designs for mass or batch production </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2e3849\">that exceeds our customer's expectations.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p>As the Design Engineer you will be responsible for: -</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #082730\">Complex tooling design.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #444444\">Performing DFM (Design for Manufacture) from approved design brief.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #333333\">Use CAD software ‘Powershape’ to refine designs. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #333333\">Creating 2D &amp; 3D models and drawings of products. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #444444\">Designing tools for injection moulding.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #444444\">Detailing and documenting selected designs for production.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #444444\">Creating 3D models for EDM.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #444444\">Researching product enhancements &amp; tooling designs.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #444444\">Conduct design reviews with customers on conference calls and on-site.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2e3849; font-size: 15px\">Requirements</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Certified Toolmaker or equivalent</li>\n<li>3 - 8 years hands-on Design experience in Plastic Injection Moulding</li>\n<li>Proven experience using Powershape</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Applications</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Proficiency in Coordinate Measuring Machine (desirable)</span></li>\n<li>Working knowledge of tool functionality</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of hardware, tools, and machines</li>\n<li>Project Management skills</li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Good troubleshooting skills</li>\n<li>Excellent drawing/mechanical drafting &amp; modelling</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #444444\">Strong analytical thinking</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary Range</span> - $80,000 to $85,000 [excl superannuation] per annum</p>\n<p><br><br></p>",
