Through Danis University, mentorship, and real project exposure, you’ll continue to grow your leadership and technical expertise.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>\n<p><strong>Field Safety Leadership</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead safety efforts across active jobsites with a strong focus on <strong>self-perform crews and field operations</strong></li>\n <li>Maintain a consistent <strong>presence in the field</strong>, working directly alongside crews to identify risks and provide real-time solutions</li>\n <li>Coach teams on safe work practices, reinforcing expectations through hands-on engagement and daily interaction</li>\n <li>Support Superintendents and field leaders in building and maintaining a strong safety culture</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Planning & Risk Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner early with project teams during preconstruction and planning to identify risks and influence how work is executed</li>\n <li>Facilitate pre-task and pre-job safety planning for self-perform scopes and project activities</li>\n <li>Help develop and implement jobsite-specific safety programs tailored to each project’s needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Audits, Investigations & Compliance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and project requirements</li>\n <li>Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions</li>\n <li>Maintain clear and accurate safety documentation across projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Training & Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and ongoing education focused on practical application—not just policy</li>\n <li>Identify training needs based on field conditions, trends, and observed risks</li>\n <li>Mentor junior safety staff and support development across field teams </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Communication & Collaboration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a key liaison between field teams, project leadership, and external stakeholders</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and self-perform leadership to align safety with execution</li>\n <li>Contribute to company-wide safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Educational foundation:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field</li>\n <li><strong>Relevant experience:</strong> 5+ years of experience in a dedicated construction safety role, ideally with exposure to self-perform operations of field-driven roles</li>\n <li><strong>Preferred certifications:</strong> OSHA 500, CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP, or similar professional credentials</li>\n <li><strong>Field knowledge:</strong> Strong understanding of construction operations, safety standards, and best practices</li>\n <li><strong>Hands-on expertise:</strong> Experience with steel, precast, and excavation operations strongly preferred due to our self-performed work</li>\n <li><strong>Leadership skills:</strong> Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams</li>\n <li><strong>Communication strength:</strong> Clear, confident interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to influence at all levels</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What to Expect on the Job</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Active field presence:</strong> Majority of time spent on jobsites in fast-paced environments</li>\n <li><strong>Varied conditions:</strong> Work outdoors and in changing weather and site conditions</li>\n <li><strong>Travel requirements:</strong> Frequent local travel;
