In this hands‑on field role, you’ll install, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems in a variety of environments while upholding the highest standards of safety, precision, and craftsmanship. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are actively hiring in <strong>Heber City, Utah</strong> and <strong>Austin, Texas</strong>, expanding our team to support growing regional demand.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of the Quanta Services family, you’ll gain the stability, resources, and long‑term career pathways that come with being connected to the largest utility contractor in North America.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<p>As a Journeyman Fiber Technician, you will play a key role in delivering the fiber optic infrastructure that keeps modern communication systems running. Your work will include fusion and mechanical splicing, fiber testing, installation of network components, and interpreting technical documentation to ensure quality and accuracy in every project.
