    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>NDE Level I Technician - Ferndlae, WA</strong></p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>The NDE Level I Technician<strong>&nbsp;</strong>is responsible for supporting the Industry Services business by working in conjunction with and under the direction of a Level II Technician on various projects at a client facility located in the Ferndale, Washington area.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p><strong>The base wage or salary range for this position is $21.00-$24.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. &nbsp;</strong></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform various non-destructive examinations at various client facilities under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or Level II Technician.</li><li>Assist in preparing NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner.</li><li>Assist and learn technical matters involving company NDE procedures and techniques.</li><li>Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers.</li><li>Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE technologies that may be applicable in our business.</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<strong> This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid TWIC card&nbsp;</li><li>HHFT training&nbsp;</li><li>Valid Driver's License</li><li>Able to pass physical exam.</li><li>A mindset of safety first.</li><li>Ability to maintain open lines of communications with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Current 40-hour radiation safety certificate.</li><li>ASNT Level I certification in RT (profile); UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.</li><li>The ability to set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret and evaluate results to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>The ability to organize and report test results and send information to the office for data processing.</li><li>The ability to solve technical issues in the field.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Intertek: Total Quality.
