This role partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, scalable design solutions. The Senior Product Designer owns design quality, usability, and consistency across assigned product areas while contributing to design strategy and system evolution. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence but does not have direct people management responsibility.</p><p><br>We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to support our product design team. This position plays a key role in designing products for assigned areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Leads end-to-end product design (discovery, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI) for assigned product areas</li><li>Partners with Product Managers and Engineers to define requirements, constraints, and solutions</li><li>Conducts and applies user research, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions</li><li>Produces high-quality interaction, visual, and systems-based designs aligned with brand and accessibility standards</li><li>Contributes to and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability</li><li>Presents design work and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Education</strong>:&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field OR equivalent professional experience (Required)</li><li>Formal UX or interaction design training or certification</li><li><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>: None</li><li><strong>Experience</strong>:</li><li>4–6 years of professional product design experience on digital products (Required)</li><li>Demonstrated experience owning complex product areas from concept to launch (Required)</li><li>Experience working on cross-functional product teams in high-growth or regulated environments</li><li><strong>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities</strong>:&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies; UX/UI best practices for web and mobile applications; and accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles (Required)</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare, fintech, or regulated-industry product design and agile/scrum product development environments (Preferred)</li><li>Advanced proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam, Sketch) skills (Required)</li><li>Wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design skills (Required)</li><li>Design critique, storytelling, and stakeholder communication skills (Required)</li><li>Design system creation and governance skills (Preferred)</li><li>Data-informed design and experimentation skills (Preferred)</li><li>Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences (Required)</li><li>Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems (Required)</li><li>Ability to influence without authority (Required)</li><li>Ability to mentor junior designers through feedback and collaboration (Preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Location</strong>: Remote</li><li><strong>Schedule</strong>: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business.</li><li>Regular meetings with internal Product Managers, Engineering, Product Design, Data, Operations, and business teams.
