CMG’s product is our people, and we believe in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that enables the CMG team to grow upon its successes and make new discoveries.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>With active exploration programs across North America and Europe exploring for commodities that will help power the future, CMG is looking to add to its team of Exploration Technicians for its projects in Canada for the 2026 field season.  If you are an aspiring geoscientist currently enrolled at a post secondary institution or an early career mineral exploration enthusiast looking to gain field experience, this is the role for you.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What you can expect by joining the CMG team:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Competitive wage ranging from <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$300-$425/day</span> dependent on prior work experience.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Abundant opportunities for growth and mentorship from CMG’s established mineral exploration team.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Inclusive, collaborative and team-oriented work environment. </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the mineral exploration life cycle and commodities including precious and base metals, battery metals and industrial minerals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>The Mineral Exploration Technician’s main responsibilities will include:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Maintaining and updating geological databases for the project</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Teching of drill core</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Cutting of drill core</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Soil, silt and biogeochemical sampling</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Assisting with geophysical surveys</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Assisting the Geology team with accurate and timely data collection in all tasks completed</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Assist in implementing corporate safety and operating policies</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Aid in developing new corporate and operating policies when instances present themselves</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #222222\">Help in all miscellaneous jobs as required during exploration</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>The ideal candidate will have:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Previous experience as an Exploration Technician or similar role in the exploration industry is considered an asset, but not required.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>A passion to learn new skills. </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Strong interpersonal, communication, time-management skills and be self-motivated.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>A positive and adaptable attitude to an ever-changing high demand work environment.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite is considered an asset.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ability to lift and move core boxes/sample bags weighing up to 50 lbs.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Legally entitled to work in Canada.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Valid driver’s licence.</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Availability to work rotations up to 28 days in length and live in a camp environment at remote project sites</span></li>\n</ul>",
