Obtains all necessary tooling, gages, and materials.</li><li>Deburring, polishing, tumbling, and rounding edges of product to be consistent to the blueprint operations sheet specifications.</li><li>Function may also include part marking, cleaning, or other various operations.</li><li>Measuring tools include micrometers, Vernier, Optical Comparer, dial bores, pin gages.</li><li>Performs visual inspections (part relationship to operation sheet/blueprint configuration) on all parts produced and performs actual dimensional verification using measuring instruments as per the guidelines established by the department or the Quality Assurance Department.&nbsp;</li><li>Replaces all worn or damaged tooling as necessary.</li></ul><ul><li>Verifies and records actual part count, both prior to and upon completion of all work.&nbsp;</li><li>Tumbling includes media selection and process development to ensure Quality product.</li><li>Responsible for blending corner radius and surfaces.</li><li>Use of microscopes for deburring operations.</li><li>Hand deburring of small parts, use of pencil grinders, bench grinders, drill presses and Carbide deburring tooling.</li><li>Keeps the equipment and work area clean and organized.&nbsp;</li><li>Notifies lead<strong>&nbsp;</strong>person or supervisor of any parts shortages or machining problems/difficulties.</li><li>Packs and washes/preserves parts as needed.</li><li>Performs other machining and assembly operations as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs other related duties as required.</li><li>Interacts with associates from all departments.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to understand operation sheets/blueprints, specifications, and all applicable company/customer paperwork.</li><li>Quality minded with the willingness and ability to cross train in other areas to provide support for cells.</li><li>One year plus experience in a machine shop or deburring environment</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
