    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Job Title:</span> Commercial Roofing Repair Technician<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Reports To:</span> Service Manager <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">FLSA Status:</span> Non-Exempt</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The Commercial Roofing Repair Technician is responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial roofing systems. This position requires a thorough understanding of various roofing systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve roof issues efficiently and professionally.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect commercial roofs to identify damage, leaks, and system failures across various roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, modified bitumen, BUR, etc.).</li>\n<li>Perform repairs on various roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, and built-up roofs.</li>\n<li>Generate accurate repair time estimates, including labor, materials, and scope of work, and communicate findings to supervisors or customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Accurately document all repairs, materials used, and time spent using company software or service forms.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Clearly document findings, repair recommendations, photos, materials used, and labor hours using service software or reports.</li>\n<li>Communicate with and customers supervisors regarding job progress, findings, and recommendations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicle in a clean and organized condition.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the service and sales teams to support repair quoting and follow-ups.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with repair-specific experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of and experience with multiple commercial roofing systems.</li>\n<li>Ability to diagnose roof issues and determine the appropriate repair solution.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel locally to job sites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Preferred Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>OSHA 10/30 Certification.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with roofing software for work orders or inspections.</li>\n<li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.</li>\n<li>Must be comfortable working on roofs of varying heights and slopes.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical demands include climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.</li>\n<li>Ability to climb ladders, work at heights for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
