In this role, you’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of design and construction projects while building technical, collaborative, and organizational skills. You will support design development, assist with documentation and coordination, and contribute through research, drawing production, and administrative tasks. This position involves working closely with a range of architecture professionals, and you’ll be expected to take initiative—learning proactively, communicating effectively, and contributing meaningfully to project success.</p>\n<h3>Why HGA?</h3>\n<p><strong>Collaborative Culture:</strong> Join a firm celebrated for integrated, cross‑disciplinary teamwork and a shared commitment to design excellence.</p>\n<p><strong>Professional Growth:</strong> Build your career with mentorship, continuing education, and clear pathways to leadership.</p>\n<p><strong>Meaningful Work:</strong> Shape the environments where people live, work, and play through projects that make a lasting impact.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this role you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> </li>\n <li>Develop architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details.</li>\n <li>Assist in producing construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.</li>\n <li>Support design presentations with renderings, diagrams, and visual materials.</li>\n <li>Research materials, systems, and construction methods to inform design decisions.</li>\n <li>Participate in planning and occupancy studies and contribute to layout development.</li>\n <li>Maintain organized project files and assist with document control.</li>\n <li>Track schedules, budgets, and deliverables for assigned tasks.</li>\n <li>Support code analysis, building systems coordination, and specification development.</li>\n <li>Review drawings and submittals for compliance and document findings.</li>\n <li>Assist with site inspections and field verification.</li>\n <li>Participate in design team discussions and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.</li>\n <li>Communicate proactively with project leads to share progress and flag challenges.</li>\n <li>Interact professionally with internal teams and external consultants.</li>\n <li>Maintain clear records of work and decisions for future reference. </li>\n <li>Log AXP experience hours regularly and pursue ARE exams.</li>\n <li>Seek feedback and mentorship from senior staff.</li>\n <li>Take initiative in learning new tools, workflows, and best practices.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you will need to have:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field from an accredited institution.</li>\n <li>2–5 years of professional experience.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.</li>\n <li>Interest in BIM workflows and project management tools (e.g., VantagePoint).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary Information:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <u>pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office</u> for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
