Our trading desks focus on variety of trading products; mainly power, gas, oil, coal, and certificates across 20 countries and 12 energy exchanges.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Job Description:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">We are looking for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Junior Power Trader</span> with a keen interest in European energy markets and a solid understanding of cross-commodity markets. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, learn from experienced traders, and contribute to trading strategies in one of the fastest-growing trading houses in Europe.<br><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Develop and execute strategies for major European power &amp; gas markets from DA to Y+1, taking into account cross-commodity relations and market volatility.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Develop fundamental models and understanding for corresponding markets; provide market insights and forecasts to support decision-making.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Maintain strong relationships with market participants and stakeholders, and stay abreast of regulatory changes and market developments affecting different energy commodities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Provide support and help to Quant Team to enhance research tools for the respective markets.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Help automation processes and make a contribution to algorithmic trading.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Collaborate with the risk management team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and to manage portfolio risks.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Qualifications:<br></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Physics, or a related quantitative field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1+ year of experience in energy trading</span> and a strong academic background in energy markets.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong interest in European power markets and a desire to develop a career in commodity trading.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">power and gas markets</span> and a basic understanding of market volatility.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Excellent time management, communication, and attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Programming skills in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Python</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">MATLAB</span>, or similar languages are a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">An MSc degree is a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">What We Offer:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Competitive Salary + bonus scheme upon satisfactory results.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Opportunity to develop your own strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">A good insight into the energy market and the impact of the energy transition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">5 weeks of vacation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">3 sick days/year + 1 day birthday leave.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Multisport Card  Access and Contribution</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee, tea, various snacks, and other refreshments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Meal support (added to salary).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Yearly public transport support.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Please note that <span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">only qualified candidates will be contacted </span></span>for further evaluation.
