This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with access control systems and alarm  .</li>\n <li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.</li>\n <li>Valid <strong>Ontario security guard license </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Drivers License is considered an an asset.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada <strong>for 40 hours per week.</strong></li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions</strong><strong> :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Access control for the facility/area</li>\n <li>Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times</li>\n <li>Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate</li>\n <li>Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies</li>\n <li>Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager</li>\n <li>Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents</li>\n <li>Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
