Working closely with the Bartending Team, the Barback helps maintain smooth operations and provides essential support to keep our Tasting Room running seamlessly.</p><p><strong>Reporting Structure:</strong></p><p>Reports to the Tasting Room Manager and collaborates closely with the entire Tasting Room team.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Assist Bartenders:</strong> Provide direct support to bartenders to optimize service speed and quality.</li><li><strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Regularly restock and organize bar inventory, replace kegs and CO2 tanks, and rotate products to ensure availability.</li><li><strong>Bar Setup &amp; Cleanup:</strong> Ensure bar areas are well-prepared for service and promptly cleaned afterward.</li><li><strong>Guest Engagement:</strong> Share knowledge about Two Roads beers, accurately describe flavors, and answer guest questions with enthusiasm.</li><li><strong>Monitor Safety:</strong> Recognize signs of intoxication and communicate any guest concerns to bartenders for appropriate action.</li><li><strong>Event Assistance:</strong> Support the team during larger events, such as Ok2berfest, Shore 2 the Pour, and various mini-festivals.</li><li><strong>General Cleaning:</strong> Maintain cleanliness of all guest and staff areas, including bathrooms and bar spaces, ensuring a polished and welcoming environment.</li><li><strong>Glassware &amp; Waste Management:</strong> Clean and replace glassware, bus tables, empty waste receptacles, and keep bar areas organized.</li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Support:</strong> Assist other areas of the business, including the Company Store, Food Hall, and provide operational support to enhance the customer experience.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be 18+ years of age.</li><li>Passion for craft beer and an eagerness to share it with guests.</li><li>TIPs certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of start).</li><li>Strong customer service skills and a friendly, team-oriented demeanor.</li><li>Ability to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds.</li><li>Availability to work nights and weekends.</li></ul>\n    </div>\n  \n",
