Located at our main campus in Red Hook, NY (12571), this position is responsible for assisting in the overall program shift management. They will provide guidance and assistance when needed for crisis situations. The EOD will provide direction and oversight of daily shift operations. They will demonstrate good telephone triage skills to assist in crisis management; demonstrate good problem solving skills and knowledge of effective resource management strategies; and, will demonstrate knowledge of regularly used computer systems (ie: RADAR, Excel, Word, Precision Care, Kronos, Outlook). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Main Campus, Red Hook, NY</p>\n<p><strong>Salary:</strong> (commensurate with education and experience)</p>\n<p>   With HS diploma: $22.50 - $24.07 per hour</p>\n<p>   With Bachelors: $23.50 - $25.14 per hour</p>\n<p>   With Masters: $24.50 - $26.21 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Interested in advancing your career?</strong> Devereux is proud to offer ASCEND – the first career accelerator program exclusively designed to give behavioral healthcare workers – the career guidance, one-on-one coaching, skills and financial assistance you need to reach your full potential. Associates Degree preferred. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong>  Minimum of three years of experience in a comparable residential/day habilitation treatment program. Strong interpersonal skills required.  Must be able to get along with diverse personalities.  Must handle detailed, complex concepts and problems and make rapid decisions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  </strong>Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants, or other chemical or controlled substances.  Significant, prolonged, and frequent amounts of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and lifting of 50 lbs. or more is required.  Using standard crisis intervention procedures, must be able to single-handedly effect the initial restraint of children and adolescents weighing 70 lbs.
