    "description_html": "<p><u><strong>Senior Project Manager </strong></u></p><p>Element Consulting Inc. is looking for a Senior Project Manager with 10 years of project/construction management experience. Experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects is required.   </p><p><u><strong>Duties: </strong></u></p><ul><li><p>Manages and provides construction oversight of Construction Manager and Project Engineer. </p></li><li><p>Resolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develops, assigns, and monitors performance of Construction Management staff relative to assigned construction projects </p></li><li><p>Reviews status and overall construction project schedule, milestone dates. </p></li><li><p>Coordinates construction activities with the contractor(s) so the construction does conflict with operating school activities </p></li><li><p>Reviews change orders from all construction projects and assesses their impact on the District’s budget </p></li><li><p>Assists Campus Director of Projects and Program Manager’s and other Facilities management staff with bid and contract planning </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assesses in preconstruction planning, document review, constructability, milestones based on active school needs and overall schedule  </p></li><li><p>Review logistics plan for construction and potential interference with campus activities   </p></li><li><p>Reviews status and monitors construction progress, variances with the contract documents, budget and schedule </p></li><li><p>Provides monthly progress reports and other status reports as needed </p></li><li><p>Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal management construction projects </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provides functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control </p></li><li><p>Reviews and monitors overall administration of contracts for the architect and related consultants  </p></li><li><p>Coordinates program activities with campus(es), District Operations & Maintenance, Principal other District departments  </p></li><li><p>Reviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects </p></li><li><p>Develops and recommends internal policies and procedures </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Performs other related duties as assigned </p></li></ul><p><u><strong>Required Experience: </strong></u></p><ul><li><p>10 full time paid professional project/construction management experience </p></li><li><p>5 years of experience in managing large programs with projects having construction values in excess of $50 million (not cumulative) </p></li><li><p>5 years’ experience in educational facility construction, public works or large commercial projects (may include projects outside of California)  </p></li></ul><p><u><strong>Additional Preferred Experience: </strong></u></p><ul><li><p>Lease Lease-Back Experience </p></li><li><p>Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) </p></li><li><p>Experience using e-Builder and Prolog </p></li><li>Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)</li></ul><p><br>Salary dependent on education and experience.  Salary range:  $150K-165K<br>​​​​​​​</p><p><em><strong>Why Choose Element Consulting?</strong></em></p><p>Element Consulting is a construction management company dedicated to providing clients with responsible and innovative solutions to their project needs, from inception to completion.
