So how about it?—Are you passionate about an opportunity like this?</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner, by making the patient the#1 priority.</li>\n <li>Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.</li>\n <li>Take direction from the doctor and/or hygienist(s), assist them with all dental procedures, and anticipate their needs.</li>\n <li>Take, develop and mount accurate, high-quality radiographs.</li>\n <li>Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, log appropriate patient data and health history during the exam and treatment, as well as transcribe the doctor’s notes.</li>\n <li>Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, per the organization’s procedures and guidelines, prior to a patient’s appointment.</li>\n <li>Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow.</li>\n <li>Educate the patients and address their questions and/or concerns.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate good teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient.</li>\n <li>Partner with the doctors, hygienists, Operations Leaders and support staff to maintain excellent patient service and integrity within the organization.</li>\n <li>Assist the front office staff in scheduling patients’ follow up visits, as well as tracking the incoming and outgoing lab cases, to ensure quality and timely products.</li>\n <li>When assigned by the Operations Leader, monitor the level of dental supplies and order using approved formulary.</li>\n <li>Promote and market Sonrava supported practices services and retail products.</li>\n <li>Complete checklists as assigned and participate in daily huddles to ensure that every single day flows smoothly.</li>\n <li>Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.</li>\n <li>Follow the organization’s safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens) federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Complete all Learning Management System requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Education/Certification:</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Current radiography certification required</li>\n <li>Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified</li>\n <li>Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred</li>\n <li>Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred</li>\n <li>Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><em>Skills and Abilities:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills</li>\n <li>Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, including conflict resolution skills</li>\n <li>Strong organization, planning and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment</li>\n <li>Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><em>Work Environment and Conditions:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Overtime required as approved by Operations Leader</li>\n <li>Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions</li>\n <li>Safety procedures and personal protective equipment required to minimize the risks from radiographs and blood-borne pathogens</li>\n <li>Potential of prolonged sitting and standing</li>\n</ul>",
