Must have therapy aide experience in an acute inpatient rehab or acute therapy setting. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs patient related tasks assigned by therapist</li>\n <li>Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs and other equipment appropriate to the facility/department.</li>\n <li>Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.</li>\n <li>Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department.</li>\n <li>Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.</li>\n <li>Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.</li>\n <li>Assists therapist with other patient related treatment activities as appropriate and providing equipment.</li>\n <li>Assist with patient related activities including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.</li>\n <li>Must have at least <strong>1 year </strong>of experience as a therapy tech or nursing technician</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#BSWIR- Inpatient</p>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
