This includes cleaning, sanitizing, and disassembling and reassembling machinery to prevent cross-contamination and meet quality control standards. This position involves executing a range of sanitation and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all employees. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h1>PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES </h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines while performing sanitation duties.</li>\n <li>Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues and visitors.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the overall safety, cleanliness, and positive image of the plant through dedicated custodial efforts.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with colleagues and facility management to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to sanitation responsibilities. </li>\n</ul>\n<h1>PRIMARY TASKS AND DUTIES </h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Routine cleaning of specified areas encompassing manufacturing floor and its equipment.</li>\n <li>Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, mops, chemical dispensers/containers, and janitorial carts. </li>\n <li>Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure availability for daily tasks.</li>\n <li>Complete daily checklist and other paperwork as required. </li>\n <li>Assist with waste disposal as necessary.</li>\n <li>Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or potential improvements to the appropriate personnel.</li>\n <li>Participate in periodic deep-cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by supervisory staff. </li>\n</ul>\n<h1>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES</h1>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Safety Awareness: </strong>Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.</li>\n <li><strong>Experience: </strong>Previous experience in sanitation, manufacturing, or food production is preferred.</li>\n <li><strong>Physical Stamina: </strong>Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.</li>\n <li><strong>Time Management:</strong> Effective time management skills to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.</li>\n <li><strong>Attention to Detail:</strong> Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.</li>\n <li><strong>Independence:</strong> Demonstrate the ability to work independently and responsibly in an unsupervised environment, exhibiting self-motivation and a proactive approach to sanitation tasks.</li>\n <li><strong>Communication Skills:</strong> Basic communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues and supervisors.</li>\n <li><strong>Adaptability: </strong>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on various sanitation tasks.</li>\n <li><strong>Reliability:</strong> Consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure the continuity of sanitation services.</li>\n <li><strong>Initiative:</strong> Proactive attitude to identify and address maintenance issues or potential improvements.</li>\n <li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Ability to collaborate seamlessly with fellow members of the sanitation and facility management team, fostering a positive team culture.</li>\n <li><strong>Equipment Operation: </strong>Competence in the safe operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.</li>\n <li><strong>Flexibility:</strong> Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or additional hours as required for special projects or events.</li>\n <li><strong>Professionalism:</strong> Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues, visitors, or other staff members.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>POSITION REQUIREMENTS</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Proven experience in sanitation or in a similar role.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and take initiative to address cleanliness needs.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.</li>\n <li>Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.</li>\n <li>Must be able to handle different ingredients such as allergens (peanuts) and different proteins including pork products.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: Starting at $18.25 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits: </strong>Three Dog Bakery offers a comprehensive, and competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and more. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>OMNI and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.</em></p>",
