As part of our interdisciplinary Mobility Advisory Team—including planners, engineers, data analysts, and modelers, you will gain practical experience while supporting transportation projects at local, regional, national, and international levels.\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about developing sustainable transportation solutions that enhance mobility and improve quality of life in communities. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals on projects involving transportation planning, public transit, active transportation, and multimodal integration.\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <strong>Role Accountabilities</strong>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n As a Transportation Planning Intern, you will:\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Support data collection and analysis</strong>&nbsp;tasks under the guidance of experienced planners and engineers.</li>\n <li><strong>Assist in preparing planning reports, deliverables, and project documentation</strong>&nbsp;to meet Arcadis and client standards.</li>\n <li><strong>Collaborate with team members and project managers</strong>&nbsp;to organize documents and deliver projects.</li>\n <li><strong>Participate in client, stakeholder, and public engagement meetings</strong>&nbsp;to observe and contribute to discussions as appropriate.</li>\n <li><strong>Contribute to research</strong>&nbsp;on best practices, new technologies, and innovative approaches in transportation planning.</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <strong>Required:</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in civil or transportation engineering, urban planning, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated interest in transportation and/or urban planning.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <strong>Preferred:</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, or databases is a plus.</li>\n <li>Exposure to transportation modeling or analysis software (e.g., Synchro, Vissim, Visum, Cube, Sidra) is an advantage but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
