    "jobDescription": "<p><b>What you need to know:</b></p><p>Assist in underwriting D&amp;O and FI risks within underwriting limits under direction and guidance from the Product Heads. Manage assigned accounts, ensuring efficient document workflow in line with operational procedures</p><p></p><p><b>Make your mark in Underwriting</b></p><p>AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.</p><p></p><p><b>How you will create an impact</b></p><ul><li>This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our D&amp;O and FI Portfolios.</li><li>Ensure adherence with all underwriting guidelines and referrals</li><li>Understand and analyze financial institutions risks</li><li>Perform and interpret financial analysis of companies’ performance</li><li>You will be responsible for assessing the desirability of risk through regular contact with brokers, close co-ordination with AIG subject matter experts and robust reviews of claims history and general company information.  </li><li>Your relationships with brokers will be key to your success. You will need to provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting.
