          "text": "<p><strong>Summary:</strong><strong> </strong>Set up and fit detailed parts on aircraft, aerospace and similar assemblies. Performs hand grinding, expanding and hand fitting to blueprint dimensions for heliarc tacking, welding and/or resistance welding.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&#xa0;Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Performs such typical operations as aligning machined details or stampings preparatory to welding operations.</li><li>Trims, scribes, files or grinds parts to templates or scribed lines.</li><li>Sets up single jobs in assembly jig for welding.</li><li>Assists higher classified workers as required.</li><li>Performs rework, repair and other associated operations relating to the work described.</li><li>Maintain minimum output of 65%.</li><li>Maintain minimum product quality acceptance of 90%.</li><li>Follow all Senior policies and procedure.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>In addition to the above, Metal Fitters are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
