In this role, you will act as the AVD subject matter authority, leading technical strategy, ensuring best-in-class performance, and driving innovation in our clients’ virtual workspace environments. You will collaborate across technical and business teams to architect secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions that align with business goals.\n The Sr. Technical Consultant working on the Subject Matter Expert team would be focused on architecting and implementing various IT Infrastructure technologies as mentioned below with an emphasis on standards, onboarding/offboarding, tool optimization, escalations and proactive measures to enhance customer environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\n Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions to meet client requirements.\n Provide expert guidance on best practices for AVD deployment, configuration, and optimization.\n Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AVD environments.\n Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.\n Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for AVD infrastructure improvements.\n Stay up to date with the latest AVD features, updates, and industry trends.\n Maintain public cloud server infrastructure and ensure system uptime SLAs.\n Provide proactive recommendations and upkeep of customer environments in tenant organizations.\n Manage infrastructure reporting, alert management, troubleshooting, and tuning.\n Maintain certifications with technology partners.\n Troubleshoot customer issues urgently and effectively.\n Install and implement systems and solutions.\n Conduct post-sales technical follow-ups and provide remote customer support.\n Track work orders and incidents through an electronic help desk system.\n Manage and resolve issues promptly.\n Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with excellent time management skills.\n Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and assessment skills.\n Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills.\n Be a team player with exceptional customer service skills.\n Mentor and guide peers, assisting teammates as needed.\n Submit timesheets, expense reports, and documentation on or before deadlines.\n Stay updated on market trends, theories, and new methodologies; embrace change.\n Assist with change-management activities.\n Prepare and deliver complete and concise documentation for all projects and tickets.\n Present progress reports to immediate supervisors and/or Project Managers.\n Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\n Quickly turn business problems into technical solutions.\n Participate in on-call schedules, serving as a high-level escalation point for Azure AVD and VDI issues.\n Education/Experience/Certifications\n Associate’s Degree required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)\n 10+ years hands-on IT experience\n 5+ years hands-on VDI solutions\n Certifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)\n Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) (preferred)\n Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) (preferred)\n Areas of Expertise: General Concepts of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD/WVD/W365)\n Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI\n Remote Desktop Services (RDS)\n General Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) concepts including Citrix DaaS\n Azure Active Directory (AAD)\n Azure Networking and Security\n Monitoring and performance tuning of AVD environments",
