    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span></span></p>\n<p>The Apprentice Recovery Pastor serves in a developmental role under the direct supervision of the Recovery Pastor. This position provides hands-on ministry training and leadership experience while assisting with the spiritual, pastoral, and operational needs of a Hope Center campus. The Apprentice Recovery Pastor will learn and support all areas of the recovery model with the goal of being equipped for future pastoral leadership.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Recovery Pastor with daily pastoral care, discipleship, and counseling of residents.</li>\n<li>Support the implementation of the four pillars of the recovery model: Discipleship, Admin, Families, and Culture.</li>\n<li>Help lead resident devotions, chapel services, and group discussions.</li>\n<li>Participate in admissions, disciplinary processes, and phase advancement reviews under supervision.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate documentation and assist with CRM logging.</li>\n<li>Provide encouragement, prayer, and biblical support to residents and families.</li>\n<li>Assist in organizing graduations, family weekends, and ministry events.</li>\n<li>Support volunteer engagement and church partnerships alongside the Recovery Pastor.</li>\n<li>Learn leadership development through coaching, observation, and practice.</li>\n<li>Carry out responsibilities in alignment with Hope Center Ministries’ mission and values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence of spiritual maturity.</li>\n<li>Desire to grow into pastoral leadership within recovery ministry.</li>\n<li>Strong biblical foundation and willingness to learn biblical counseling methods.</li>\n<li>Effective communicator and relational with residents, families, and staff.</li>\n<li>Organized and teachable with a servant-hearted attitude.</li>\n<li>Previous ministry, volunteer, or leadership experience preferred but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Competencies</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Desire to shepherd and disciple others.</li>\n<li>Ability to listen, encourage, and support residents in recovery.</li>\n<li>Team player with humility and willingness to follow direction.</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Eagerness to grow in leadership and administrative responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Spiritual Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must affirm and live in alignment with Hope Center Ministries’ Statement of Faith.</li>\n<li>Committed to personal integrity, prayer, and accountability.</li>\n<li>Lifestyle consistent with biblical standards of leadership (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.</li>\n<li>Must pass background check and drug screening.</li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Expectations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A mature, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle aligned with biblical standards.</li>\n<li>Agreement with the Statement of Faith, Lifestyle Statement, and mission of Hope Center Ministries.</li>\n<li>Ministry license - New hires will be begin the ministry license process immediately upon hire.</li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of the Bible and a heart for discipleship.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Celebrate Recovery’s 12 Steps and 8 Principles.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of addiction, human behavior, and lay counseling.</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to resolve conflict biblically and compassionately.</li>\n<li>Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Willingness to submit to background checks and reference screenings.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This is more than a job—it's a calling.</span><br>As a Recovery Pastor, you’ll have the opportunity to help men encounter Christ, break the chains of addiction, and step into the life of purpose and freedom they were created for.
