The Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance/Limited Licensed Technologist supports MRI technologists and radiology staff in providing safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care during magnetic resonance imaging and x-ray procedures. This role assists with patient preparation, transportation, room setup, equipment readiness, and administrative support to ensure smooth workflow within the MRI and radiology departments.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Assist MRI technologists with preparing patients for imaging procedures.</p><p>Escort and transport patients to and from the MRI department safely.</p><p>Verify patient identity and assist with pre-screening questionnaires.</p><p>Ensure patients remove all metal objects and comply with MRI safety requirements.</p><p>Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness between patients.</p><p>Stock supplies, linens, contrast materials, and other necessary equipment.</p><p>Help position patients under the direction of the MRI technologist.</p><p>Monitor patient comfort and report any concerns immediately.</p><p>Assist with paperwork and electronic medical record documentation.</p><p>Maintain strict adherence to MRI safety protocols and infection control standards.</p><p>Support emergency procedures and patient assistance as needed.</p><p>Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff.</p><p>Ensure imaging suites are organized and ready for daily operations.</p><p>Venipuncture</p><p>Assist with MRI contrast administration</p><p>Perform limited scope x-rays in the Radiology Dept as needed and certification allows.</p>",
