The candidate will ideally hold a legal qualification and have 5 or more years’ experience in prime &amp; futures trading documentation.</p>\n<p><strong>OUR IMPACT&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>The team is responsible for providing outstanding service by engaging with clients, understanding their trading activity/strategy.&nbsp; We handle all aspects of the relevant trading documentation negotiation and are therefore an essential component in the creation and maintenance of a trading relationship with a given client.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:5pt\"><strong>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the end-to-end negotiation of a wide range of trading and operational agreements, including prime brokerage agreement, futures agreement, CDEA, ISDA/CSA, MCA and related regulatory initial margin documents.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Review of legal opinions on netting and collateral enforceability including liaising with external counsel.</li>\n <li>Develop and execute bespoke negotiation strategies that balance client objectives with firm‑wide risk, legal and commercial considerations.</li>\n <li>Independently manage complex or sensitive negotiations with high profile institutional clients, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution and timely execution.</li>\n <li>Partner closely with the Prime business, in particular the New Business Group, to support client onboarding, new product approval and strategic business initiatives.</li>\n <li>Drive continuous improvement across documentation processes, policy and best practice including mentoring junior team members and leading training or knowledge sharing sessions.</li>\n <li>Provide clear, timely guidance to internal stakeholders—including trading, sales, client services, credit, treasury and operations—on master documentation queries and risk considerations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Identify control gaps, assess operational and legal risks, and propose pragmatic solutions to enhance process effectiveness and consistency across the documentation franchise.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships to support strategic initiatives, consensus building, and the successful execution of complex client or regulatory requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:5pt\"><strong>Preferred Experience and Skills</strong>:<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree, JD or equivalent legal qualification, with at least five years’ experience in a Legal or Trading Documentation role within Prime Brokerage, Futures, Derivatives, or a related function.</li>\n <li>Strong technical knowledge of key documentation types and legal entity structures, including funds, insurance companies, pension schemes, and alternative investment vehicles.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to negotiate and review detailed legal documents with precision, commercial awareness, and strong attention to detail, particularly under time pressure.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain consistency across large documentation portfolios and sound judgment on escalation points.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and articulate legal and commercial issues clearly.</li>\n <li>High degree of motivation and ownership, with a genuine enthusiasm for developing deep expertise in Prime Brokerage and Futures documentation.</li>\n <li>Flexible, proactive, and able to navigate evolving priorities in a fast‑paced trading environment.</li>\n <li>Strong commercial acumen and curiosity about Prime Brokerage and Futures products, client strategies, and market developments.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with internal systems, document management platforms and workflow tools, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n <p><strong>Salary Range</strong>&nbsp;<br>\n   The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$235000.
