You will manage a skilled team of survey technologists and technicians while collaborating closely with clients and multidisciplinary project leads. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.</p>\n<p><strong>Come Join Arcadis!</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide expert leadership and technical guidance as the lead Ontario Land surveyor, supporting both staff and broader regional initiatives</li>\n <li>Plan, direct, and oversee the activities of the Geomatics Technical Support Unit, ensuring responsiveness to evolving priorities and project timelines</li>\n <li>Offer strategic input on the development of Geomatics policies, standards, and quality assurance frameworks</li>\n <li>Managing projects including working with clients to establish scope, budget, schedule and safety expectations</li>\n <li>Oversee projects to ensure they meet the contractual requirements while delivering quality deliverables the meet or exceed our clients' requirements&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure quality assurance procedures are carried out and ensuring field returns, drawings and legal plans meet regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Sign and professionally certifying legal surveys</li>\n <li>Work with the Business Unit Lead and Business Unit Director to drive growth in Ontario market for the Land Surveying Division of Arcadis&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Be part of the business development process, building relationships, prepare proposals and explore new business opportunities emerging from the market&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Build a strong, cohesive technical Team that encourages “best work” in an environment that mentors for personal and professional growth</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified Ontario Land Surveyor, in good standing with the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors with the ability to sign and professionally certify legal surveys. Experience working with compliance with all responsibilities outlined in the AOLS Certificate of Authorization</li>\n <li>Over 8 years of relevant experience</li>\n <li>Have a work history that contains team leadership&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience exploring and obtaining new business opportunities through the development of professional relationships with deep business development experience with activities like writing proposals, etc.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong technical skills related to subdivision, condominium, boundary retracements, topographic surveys, and easement mapping with comprehensive understanding of the relevant legislation and regulatory standards governing land surveying in Ontario</li>\n <li>Proficient in using industry-standard surveying software and equipment with the ability to integrate emerging technologies (e.g., LiDAR, drones) to enhance survey capabilities and innovation an asset</li>\n <li>Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field is advantageous</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
