The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs brokerage and classification of goods, as well as experience in client care and team leadership. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure quality and efficiency. If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for customs brokerage and leadership, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The position will consist primarily of accurately classifying goods according to the Customs Tariff and performing post-release audit for large volumes of shipments. This Trade Specialist must have a full comprehension of the release and post-release process and mentor other team members through this procedure. The individual must have a thorough understanding of the client’s business, and be able to competently deal with clients, vendors, and customs in a professional manner. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 204, 204); font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(22, 145, 121); font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thorough comprehension of Pre-release and Post-release processes</li>\n<li>Database Maintenance<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Classifying goods according to the Customs Tariff, using explanatory and legal notes and other resources to determine correct HS code<br></li>\n<li>Research and apply PGA data<br></li>\n<li>FTA management and application<br></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Audit files and prepare/send them for final accounting<br></li>\n<li>Monitor and action 4th and 5th day entries<br></li>\n<li>Log and communicate errors to release associates within the team<br></li>\n<li>Supervise and mentor other team members<br></li>\n<li>Day to Day client care:<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem resolution and billing inquiries<br></li>\n<li>Assist clients requesting tariff and duty rates<br></li>\n<li>Post release document/information pursuit<br></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Accompany and support Managers on client meetings (in person or remote)<br></li>\n<li>Onboarding of new clients; Account set up<br></li>\n<li>SOP creation/maintenance<br></li>\n<li>Assist in Penalty/Storage/Demurrage Analysis and Write Offs<br></li>\n<li>Processing releases for highway/rail/air/ocean shipments as needed<br></li>\n<li>Facilitating delivery notifications where applicable<br></li>\n<li>Ensuring elogs and audit trails support actions<br></li>\n<li>Preparing PGA forms<br></li>\n<li>Submit RMD corrections on released shipments<br></li>\n<li>ETA, VI entries and E29B’s<br></li>\n<li>Post-release TPL permits<br></li>\n<li>Monitoring Alerts and answer QCs within threshold<br></li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(22, 145, 121);
