The Project Engineer is responsible for&nbsp;managing certification projects.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Conduct comprehensive research on North American building codes and applicable product standards.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Develop detailed test plans and evaluation protocols based on research findings.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Prepare Code Reports for compliance to the US and Canadian Building Codes.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Collaborate closely with sales, laboratory, and technical teams to support seamless project execution.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Participate actively in industry committees, standards development activities, and technical association meetings.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>What it takes to be in this role:</strong></p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (preferably Materials or Civil Engineering)&nbsp;</p></li><li data-start=\"58\" data-end=\"178\"><p data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"178\">Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the code compliance field.</p></li><li data-start=\"179\" data-end=\"274\"><p data-start=\"181\" data-end=\"274\">Expert-level knowledge of U.S. and Canadian model building codes and their application.</p></li><li data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"386\"><p data-start=\"277\" data-end=\"386\">Demonstrated expertise in certification pathways, product evaluations, and regulatory approval processes.</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year.
