Hardworking and integrity driven, our technicians make quality repairs in a timely manner, maintain their equipment to the highest standards, and build trusting relationships with our clients.</p>\n<h2>What Makes Nextech Different?</h2>\n<p><strong>Sign-On Bonus:</strong> <strong>Up to $3,000 for qualified candidates</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Qualify for Seasonal Bonuses</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Vehicle:</strong> Hit the road in a fully equipped van, gas card included<strong>Start Your Day from Home:</strong> Dispatched directly from home for daily convenience<strong>Get Paid for All Your Time:</strong> Paid port-to-port travel means no unpaid downtime<strong>Tool Allowance:</strong> Keep your gear sharp — we’ve got you covered<strong>Professional Growth:</strong> Paid training, certification support, and education reimbursement<strong>Outstanding Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Multiple health plans, including a FREE employee-only option</li>\n <li>Dental and vision coverage starting after just 30 days</li>\n <li>FREE life insurance equal to your annual salary</li>\n <li>401(k) with 50% company match on the first 6%</li>\n <li>Optional supplemental coverage for life, disability, accidents, and critical illness</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Generous Time Off:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Seven paid holidays plus Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Exclusive discounts on travel, auto, dining, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Min Compensation</h2>USD $28.00/Hr.\n<h2>Max Compensation</h2>USD $35.00/Hr.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide the highest level of technical ability, quality, value, and integrity to our customers</li>\n <li>Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial customers. </li>\n <li>Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems</li>\n <li>Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer</li>\n <li>Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers</li>\n <li>Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics</li>\n <li>Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle</li>\n <li>Document details of services and parts provided to customers electronically through iPad applications</li>\n <li>Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and be able to explain need for and value of recommended solutions</li>\n <li>Participate in company-provided training opportunities</li>\n <li>Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new unit/ system, PM contracts, and additional services)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We’re Looking For</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician\n  <ul>\n   <li>May require a Journeyman's License in some states</li>\n   <li>May require state specific licenses</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>EPA certification and a valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans</li>\n <li>Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology</li>\n <li>A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality</li>\n <li>Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and/or talking</li>\n <li>Able to alternate between standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching</li>\n <li>Able to operate an iPad, cell phone, computer and/or other office/work-related machinery</li>\n <li>Able to stand for extended periods </li>\n <li>Able to travel as needed on daily basis </li>\n <li>Able to lift up to 100 lbs.</li>\n <li>Regularly requires climbing</li>\n <li>Occasionally able to work in office environment, as needed</li>\n</ul>",
