Whether it is reuniting families or attending cultural activities with families, Sagkeeng Child &amp; Family Services may have that opportunity for you!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sagkeeng Child &amp; Family Services is looking for mature, reliable and skilled Casual Support Workers to provide support services for our Children and Families.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safe and timely transport of children or families to and from family visits/appointments</li>\n<li>Supervision of family visits, ensuring all are safe</li>\n<li>Provide support to children in care and families</li>\n<li>Detailed note writing and documentation</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum completion of high school; or a combination of education and related experience may be considered</li>\n</ul>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Class 5F Driver’s license</li>\n<li>Full access to a safe and insured vehicle; with a minimum of $2,000,000 liability</li>\n<li>Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry and Drivers Abstract</li>\n<li>Active cellular phone</li>\n</ul>\n<p>SPECIAL SKILLS</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Ability to write short or detailed contact notes</li>\n<li>Valid First Aid and CPR Certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING<br>Casual Support Workers take on contracts which can be ongoing for weeks. Which means you will have a set weekly schedule up to a specific date. <br>For example, your schedule can look like the following:<br>Saturday and Sunday, 4pm – 12am, weekly for 12 weeks. <br>Once you have completed the contract, you may be offered another.<br>Casual Support Workers have full control over the contract they accept and hours they work. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sagkeeng Community members and Indigenous candidates are encouraged to self-identify.</p>",
