They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Effectively cleans food manufacturing production equipment.</li>\n <li>Understands and follows all assigned tasks and abides by all safety requirements.</li>\n <li>Continually meets our commitment to achieve superior service and cleaning levels.</li>\n <li>Inspects equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.</li>\n <li>Cleans specific pieces of equipment by tearing down equipment, cleaning with appropriate chemicals and re-assembling equipment.</li>\n <li>Performs inspections on equipment cleaned, to verify cleaning effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with work instructions, standards & product specifications.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance to all safety & environmental regulations are achieved & provides direction to team to accomplish these goals.</li>\n <li>Performs wash downs for change over’s and shut downs. </li>\n <li>Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.</li>\n <li>Maintains all areas of Plants including Depositing, and Packing. Using broom, mop, dust pan, squeegees, gather and empty trash, etc.</li>\n <li>Follows attendance policy. Observes department call-in procedures. Exhibits timely arrival and departure and dependable time habits including meal and other breaks.</li>\n <li>Maintains a positive attitude and gets along well with coworkers.</li>\n <li>Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others.</li>\n <li>Follows dress code and maintains a professional appearance.</li>\n <li>Can be relied upon to complete assigned tasks.</li>\n <li>Complies with established Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Works within a team environment to meet/exceed established production standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>(Highly Preferred) Sanitation experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as FDA or USDA regulated facilities, especially those operating under GMP, SQF, and/or HACCP standards.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience following LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures while tearing down, sanitizing, inspecting, and reassembling production machinery to meet regulatory standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>\n <li>1-2 years of experience in sanitation preferably in a manufacturing enviornment.</li>\n <li>Ability to work individually and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate cleaning equipment and manage time safely and without damage.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with pressure washers, floor scrubbers, sanitizing chemicals, Forklift, scissor lift, etc.</li>\n <li>Must have experience working in a GMP environment doing manufacturing or sanitation.</li>\n <li>Must be knowledgeable in areas of chemical usage with a Food Manufacturing facility.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs, able to stand on feet for the shift, able to be physically active and work on a ladder or at heights.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of proper Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) use as it applies to chemical usage.</li>\n <li>Basic written and verbal skills.</li>\n <li>Multi-tasking & attention to detail skills required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to understand and follow verbal or written communications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</u></strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
