Description

*** SIGN ON BONUS - $10,000*** General Statement: Advanced Physical Therapy is expanding! We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our new Amarillo clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact on patient care while working autonomously in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will have experience in evaluating and treating patients with chronic pain conditions (back/neck pain, fibromyalgia, multiple joint pain) with a treatment focus on manual therapy, functional rehabilitation, and pain management techniques. The clinic also receives therapy referrals for postoperative therapy, orthopedic/sports med conditions, neurological conditions and more. The physical therapist will work closely with referring community-based healthcare providers, Advanced Pain Care providers, and the neuromodulation team by communicating patient concerns and providing patient updates. The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload in a solo practice environment is fundamental. The physical therapist must also have strong communication skills to educate and motivate patients as well as to communicate regularly with the off-site Director of Therapy regarding patient care and clinic operations. Compassionate care and the flexibility to adjust treatment based on how the patient feels are essential to this job, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and empathetic support for their unique needs. Therapy sessions are based on a 1-on-1 patient-focused approach, with one-hour long appointments, typically 8 patients/day volume. No weekends are required. If you're passionate about helping chronic pain sufferers regain mobility and improve the quality of their lives and are ready to take on a rewarding role in a growing clinic, we encourage you to apply! Mission Statement: At Advanced Physical Therapy, our mission is to deliver exceptional, personalized care that is centered around the unique needs of each patient. We specialize in working with individuals experiencing chronic pain, prioritizing pain relief as the first step in the healing process. Our goal is to restore mobility, correct movement patterns, and design customized strength training programs that enhance overall function, promote lasting recovery, and improve quality of life. Physical Therapist Job Purpose: The Physical Therapist will perform patient evaluation based on physician orders, plan and execute patient treatment plans, and modify treatment plans as patients' abilities change. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, self-starter who enthusiastically works with all patients, including post-surgical, medically complex, and those with work-related injuries. DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Primary and essential job duties are as follows: · Provides initial and ongoing assessment to determine the level of patients’ physical and psychosocial functioning. · Develops and revises the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care-team members. · Evaluates and reports on patients’ progress. · Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records. · Assists administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries. · Completes diagnostic and procedure coding and documentation as required/needed. · Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. · Practices safe habits including but not limited to infection control, lifting procedures, etc. · Presents a professional image and customer focus · Practices teamwork by helping others willingly and communicating in a professional manner · Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities · Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. · Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. · Operates standard office equipment (e.g. copier, personal computer, fax, etc.). · Adheres to Advanced Pain Care’s Policies and procedures · Has regular and predictable attendance · Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISION Reports to Physicians; works with management team and midlevel providers.
