    "description": "<h2>Basic Qualifications </h2>\n<p>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience capturing, analyzing, and translating business requirements, specifications, processes, and business cases desired. Proficient as a developer, systems integrator, systems engineer, solutions architect, or similar preferred. Proficiency in development languages, platforms, and tools preferred. Proficient knowledge of SQL queries for data transfer or business reporting preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:</strong>: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities,<strong> U.S. citizenship is required.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><h2>What You'll Own</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Current-state process mapping. Document existing business processes end-to-end: tasks, roles, systems, handoffs, decision points, exceptions, and workarounds. Get the real process, not the documented one.</li>\n   <li>Future-state design. Work with Domain SMEs and the engineering team to define target processes that leverage AI capabilities — automation, intelligent routing, predictive decision support — while preserving business rules that exist for a reason.</li>\n   <li>Gap analysis. Identify what changes between current and future state — process changes, data requirements, training needs, compliance impacts. Make the implicit explicit.</li>\n   <li>User workflow analysis. Understand who performs each task, what systems they touch, what their pain points are, and what adoption barriers exist. The best system in the world fails if people won't use it.</li>\n   <li>Acceptance criteria. Define clear, testable criteria for whether the new system meets the business need. Work with the Product Owner to ensure the pod builds what the business actually requires.</li>\n  </ul><h2>What You Won't Own</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Technical implementation decisions — you define the what, the engineers define the how</li>\n   <li>Backlog prioritization — that's the Product Owner's call</li>\n   <li>Change management or training delivery — that's a matrix partner role</li>\n  </ul><h2>What Makes This Role Different</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Your analysis directly shapes what gets built. You are not writing requirements for a vendor to interpret — you are sitting next to the engineers who will build it.</li>\n   <li>You are working on AI-native system replacement, not incremental improvement. The future state isn't a better version of the current system — it's a fundamentally different approach.</li>\n   <li>You will have direct access to the people who actually do the work today. Not their managers. Not their documented procedures. The people.</li>\n  </ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in business analysis, process engineering, or operations analysis</li>\n   <li>Demonstrated experience mapping complex business processes across multiple systems and stakeholder groups — not just documenting what people tell you, but observing and validating how work actually flows</li>\n   <li>Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRM, MES, or similar) — you understand how these systems support business operations and where they create friction</li>\n   <li>Strong communication skills — you can interview a shop floor operator at 6am and present findings to a VP at 2pm, and both conversations are productive</li>\n   <li>Experience translating business requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria that engineering teams can build against</li>\n   <li>S. citizenship required. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.</li>\n  </ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience in system modernization or legacy replacement projects — you have been through the pain of migrating off a system that an organization has used for 15+ years</li>\n   <li>Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities — enough to understand what automation, intelligent routing, and predictive analytics can realistically do for a business process</li>\n   <li>Experience in manufacturing, defense, or complex enterprise environments with process compliance requirements</li>\n   <li>Process modeling tools and methodologies (BPMN, value stream mapping, or similar)</li>\n   <li>Data literacy — you can read a database schema, understand data flows, and have credible conversations with data engineers about what information exists and where</li>\n  </ul><h2>What Sets You Apart</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>You get the real process, not the official one. You know that the documented procedure and the actual workflow are rarely the same thing.</li>\n   <li>You ask why. When someone says \"we've always done it this way,\" you find out whether there's a real reason or just inertia.</li>\n   <li>You can explain a complex workflow simply. Your process maps are tools that engineers actually use, not artifacts that satisfy a checklist.</li>\n   <li>You think about adoption from day one. The best process redesign fails if the people doing the work don't buy in.</li>\n   <li>You have been wrong before and adjusted.
