In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining label machinery to meet daily production deadlines safely and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, and take pride in quality workmanship, Vestcom is the place for you.</p><p><strong>Key Areas of Responsibility</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Machine Operation: </strong>Safely and efficiently operate label machinery to achieve strict production deadlines in accordance with the daily schedule.</p></li><li><p><strong>Inventory &amp; Material Management: </strong>Log raw materials, dates, and carton ID numbers into the ERP system to maintain strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory controls, track job time, and quickly identify raw material quality control issues.</p></li><li><p><strong>Waste Reduction: </strong>Monitor operations closely to minimize the waste, scrap, or misuse of raw production materials.</p></li><li><p><strong>Equipment Maintenance: </strong>Take ownership of the care and maintenance of all production dies. Identify and communicate machine performance or label quality issues immediately to the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.</p></li><li><p><strong>Facility Operations: </strong>Assist with distribution functions as needed, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p></li></ul>",
