Description We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Welding Fabrication Shop is seeking a Fabrication Technician performs hands on operations such as operating a sand blast unit, Painting with a sprayer and hand rolling or brush, materials loading and unloading, utilizing a fork lift, Utilizing shop equipment as required i.e. saws, shears, press, iron worker, drill press etc. Monday- Friday, Day Shift-6 am- 3 pm, Starting pay $20-$28 hourly DOE, paid weekly. *Great opportunity for a recent High School graduate (18 yrs) to gain hands-on experience and learn the welding trades.* Why work for Clean Harbors? Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures Help to maintain shop area and exterior of buildings in a clean and orderly fashion Reviews all applicable SOP's and satisfactorily completes quizzes Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards Meets or exceeds production goals Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment Understands Clean Compliance Standard Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift operation Understanding of hand tools- required Ability to work in team environment Climb on and off forklifts Ability to perform multiple tasks Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste Climb up and down vertical ladders Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit) Good hand/eye coordination Valid Us DL's Punctuality and attendance- required Background check, drug screen and physical- required Updated resume, including most recent employer- required Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time, including F1-OPT work authorization.
