Our curriculum and teaching methods are designed using Core Knowledge in K-8 and a blended learning model in elementary school through high school. &nbsp;We are a TAP school! &nbsp;</em></p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>REPORTS TO/TERM</strong></u><strong>:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Principal and Special Education Director&nbsp;</p><p>This is a full time 10-month position. (Training in July)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>A Special Education Self-contained Teacher will perform the following duties:</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;Maintain student Service Logs</li><li>&nbsp;Create and modify student lessons</li><li>&nbsp;Keep daily Service Logs</li><li>&nbsp;Conduct small group lessons</li><li>&nbsp;Provide individual student services</li><li>&nbsp;Mainstream students into General Education classrooms</li><li>&nbsp;Collaborate with classroom teachers</li><li>&nbsp;Provide services to students as outlined in IEP</li><li>&nbsp;Write Effective IEPs</li><li>&nbsp;Meet all deadlines</li><li>&nbsp;Monitor progress</li><li>&nbsp;Maintain updated Service Schedule</li><li>&nbsp;Maintain updated caseload lists</li><li>&nbsp;Provide Accommodations\\Modifications</li><li>&nbsp;Parental contacts w/documentation</li><li>&nbsp;Facilitate academic testing</li><li>&nbsp;Facilitate statewide testing</li><li>&nbsp;Communicate suspensions</li><li>&nbsp;Attend all required staff meetings</li><li>&nbsp;File state documents in Special Education file and office</li><li>&nbsp;Other functions assigned by supervisor</li><li>&nbsp;Follow all school policies</li></ul>",
