Together, we are EXP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Are you ready to design your future?</p><p>Be our next<strong>&nbsp; Senior Electrical Engineer</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p>In this role, you will be a part of the&nbsp;(Civic, Education, Federal, Naval, Transit or commercial buildings) in Guam and the Pacific Islands.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Lead the discipline design team to produce construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget while minimizing inefficiencies and rework.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP/FP, arch, struct, etc) for power, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding design.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Apply risk management practices of project engineering.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Front-end load projects and apply best practices to set the proper direction of the project in SDs and DDs.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provide discipline specific manpower planning for projects and assist in team resource allocation.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provide support for the Project Manager with respect to electrical and fire alarm scope.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Execute complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Apply knowledge of building code requirements within the NEC, IBC, IECC/ASHRAE, and other codes.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Understanding and correctly apply concepts of emergency and normal power systems, of lighting, photometric, and lighting controls, voltage drop, conductor sizing, harmonics, grounding and bonding etc.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Interface with electrical utility providers and coordinate incoming service including service entrance ductbanks and utility transformers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Evaluate Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Select and edit electrical specifications from baseline CSI Masterformat.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Perform calculations for available fault current study; implement proper AIC ratings of equipment, coordination studies, arc flash analysis, generator and ups sizing and preliminary load calculations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Prepare one-line diagrams for power, grounding, lighting control, and fire alarm scopes of work.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Layout equipment room sizes during Schematic Design and Design Development phases.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Prepare floor plans showing electrical and fire alarm device layouts, circuitry, fixtures, equipment, etc.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Respond to RFI’s for the project, and accurately review submittals.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Solve installation problems with electrical systems, travel to the site to resolve issues.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Manage and deliver revisions (ASI’s, Bulletins, Addendums, etc).</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) reviews on specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Develop Internal lessons learned, best practices and standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provide meaningful feedback to supervisor on areas of improvement or concern of the team.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provide mentoring and guidance to peers and subordinates.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">6+ years' experience in electrical MEP design (Federal, Military, Naval, Aviation or commercial buildings)</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Thorough knowledge of NEC and building codes.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">AutoCAD and REVIT MEP proficient (REVIT Experience is required).</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Registered P.E. is required&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Experience in using SKM Power Tools or similar software for engineering calculations preferred (Fault Current Studies, Coordination Studies, Arc Fault Studies, photometric analysis).</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Experience using construction cost estimating software (Cost-works) preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#GUAM</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
