The head golf coach will build a program with a solid foundation that teaches student-athletes technical and tactical skills along with other valuable life skills through competition.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </span>(other duties as assigned)</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Hire and train assistant coaches. Involve them in planning and decision-making. Assign responsibilities.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Complete all MSHSL and MSCHSA coach requirements.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Connect with coaches from other schools and build your competition schedule.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Keep inventory and a detailed list of equipment. Meet with the athletic director to order new equipment.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Communicate sport-specific website updates to the athletic department.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Schedule and direct a pre-season interest meeting for families.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Attending a pre-season meeting with the athletic director.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Organize a community outreach team activity.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Plan a varsity team retreat and team-building day.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Send information needed for the media guide to the athletic department.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Develop an indoor and outdoor practice schedule.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Develop a spiritual development plan for the season.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Train athletes in a productive way that fits within the scope of the philosophy of Mustang Athletics.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Develop a detailed plan for tryouts and practices.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Input match schedules and update scores and stats on required sites.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Communicate regularly with families through the Hello Team app and in-person communication.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Work with athletes on setting and reaching their individual and team goals.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Connect regularly with athletes about their role and skill development.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Name and meet with captains regularly to develop them as leaders.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Conduct post-season evals of assistant coaches.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Submit the end-of-season report to the athletic director.</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">· Attend a post-season meeting with the athletic director.</span></p>\n<p> <br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</span> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Manage assistant coaches.
