    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>About the Team</strong></p><p>You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for creating assortment strategies based on analyzing sales and trend.&nbsp;Our job blends creativity, analytics, and marketing.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You will assist in daily/seasonal tasks to help drive the business. As the Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity,&nbsp;supporting the Buyer on seasonal needs, and working closely with multiple cross-functional teams. In&nbsp;this role you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment while working with a highly collaborative team.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Work within Merchandise systems to set up and maintain all SKUs</li><li>Responsible for visual line and merchandise list</li><li>Communicate &nbsp;project and sample status updates, costing/SKU worksheets; responsible for passing new SKUs for placement once approved and tracking to PO due dates</li><li>Responsible for assisting sample management – communicating and partnering with our photo&nbsp;and warehouse teams to track sample positions&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare reporting as directed and assist the Buyer with business opportunities</li><li>Partner with the Buyer and Visual teams to plan seasonal retail floor sets, including assisting with seasonal walkthrough setups and updating relevant file</li><li>Maintain strong, positive relationships with cross-functional partners across inventory, design, development, e-commerce, and creative teams</li><li>Enter and maintain all regular pricing for DTC and Retail, working closely with inventory partners and sourcing teams</li><li>Manage personalization techniques, opportunities, and execution for photography and site</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the relevant retail markets; maintain and upkeep competitive analyses</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Criteria</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>BA /BS degree required</li><li>1-2&nbsp;years of retail buying experience&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of retail math calculations</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities, shifting tasks and timelines</li><li>Ability to work autonomously, strong decision making skills with good judgement</li><li>Detail-oriented – takes the appropriate time to complete tasks and reviews work to ensure accuracy</li><li>Familiar and comfortable with pulling sales reports and strong ability to analyze business metrics</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint); ability to create pivot tables and experience with advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP</li><li><strong>This role requires being onsite in the Dumbo Brooklyn office&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p>#LI-LG1</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Our Culture &amp; Values&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all.
